At first blush it wouldn't appear that edge is a need for the Seahawks this upcoming draft. They just drafted edges in back to back drafts in the second round, paid Uchenne Nwosu a hearty new contract and even brought back Darryl Taylor this offseason. When you look closer at the situation, Taylor is on a non-guaranteed one-year deal, Uchenna could be moved on from next offseason to save money, and Derrick Hall still remains a question mark after a disappointing rookie season. The edge group of most drafts tends to be well-stocked with variety of prospects throughout each day of the draft. This year is no different. This is an interesting prospect class for defensive tackles. It's not loaded with the sizzle of top end talent, but has a thick crop of prospects bunched into between early day-2 of the draft to early day-3. On the show today, we're looking for starting Centers and Tackles that could potentially transition to guard in this 2024 NFL Draft. Many Seahawks fans believe Olu Oluwatimi is ready to slide start at center but there will be some very intriguing center prospects that could cause Seattle to look for an upgrade. In regards to tackles, Seattle not only has their two starters in place at tackle, but have two backups locked in as well. And while it's unlikely they draft a tackle, they are looking for mobile offensive linemen, and one way to get more mobile inside is to transition a college tackle to guard. So on today's show, it's centers and tackles that can transition into guard.

There is probably no more bigger position of need heading into this draft than guard for the Seattle Seahawks. They could use starters and depth. Luckily for them, this draft is well stocked with interior offensive lineman. The wide receiver position might be the strongest, deepest positional group in the 2024 NFL draft. Star power, YAC guys, contested catch kings, whatever type of receiver you're looking for can be found in this draft. And you don't just have to pick them early. The past two years the Seahawks have double-dipped in the second round taking Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet. After losing Deejay Dallas, even with Kenny McIntosh on the roster, it would appear there is an opening for them to take a back somewhere in this draft. There has been some turnover at the tight end position this offseason with Will Dissly and Colby Parkinson moving on, Noah Fant being retained and Pharoah Brown being brought in to help as a blocker. The Seahawks in recent years have carried three tight ends on the roster, and so there is more than a decent chance they look to pick up a tight end prospect in this upcoming draft. While not a loaded class at the position there are interesting players that can be found in any round. On the BNB show today, we're going to look at those options.

It is approximately a month away from the NFL Draft. That time to start taking a closer look at the prospects the Seahawks might be looking to target. With the recent trade for Sam Howell, the chances dimmed of the Seahawks taking a quarterback, but it's still viable possibility with this draft being as strong for quarterbacks as we've seen in a few years, at least at the top of the draft. On the BNB Show today, we'll cover some of the recent Seahawks moves and breakdown the available quarterbacks in next month's draft.
