I am your typical fanatic Seahawk fan, also known as the 12th man. I’m creating this channel in the hopes of providing a fun in-depth mile high view of the current state of our beloved Seattle Seahawks. I try to distill the sources, rumors, innuendo in order to arrive at the bottom line. As well, I plan to do an ongoing video series diving into the lore of Great Seahawk Moments and players. Player mobility in the NFL is at an all time high. A player you think is foundational to a team's success suddenly becomes expendable, and not always because the player has fallen. This past week, Chris Jones, perhaps the second best defensive tackle in the sport behind Aaron Donald, did not report to Chiefs training camp, and is currently getting hit with $50,000 a day in fines. The Chiefs have about $10 in cap space, and the sides are reportedly far apart. It's a longshot he hits the trade market, but if he did, should the the Seahawks try and put a package together? I'll break down the particulars of what a trade would look like, what Jones would cost, and if the Seahawks should consider it.
